WWE Changed The Finish Of Bliss vs. Bayley Multiple Times?

Even though the WWE is the biggest and the most popular wrestling company in the world, there is no doubt that they are sometimes struggling with the booking of their shows as well as their superstars. From time to time it just seems that they don’t have a clear-cut idea of what they want to do short-term or long-term with some of their feuds and superstars. The only long-term plan that they have had for the past couple of years is pushing Roman Reigns straight to the top no matter what.

The prime example of them really not knowing what they want to do is this Raw Women’s championship match between Alexa Bliss and Bayley this past Sunday at the Payback pay per view in San Jose. It was a really good battle as both superstars did a great job as far as in-ring work goes. By the end of the night, Alexa Bliss became the first woman that has held both Raw and Smackdown Live Women’s championships.

According to multiple reports, the title change that happened at Payback almost didn’t happen as the WWE officials were debating whether or not they should take the title away from Bayley. The finish of this duel was changed four times before the final decision was made.

When they had everything set and ready for the show, the plan was for Bayley to keep the title. But that finish was altered very early Sunday morning, on the day of the show. Then, what is even more shocking is the fact that the officials changed the ending of this championship battle two more times just a couple of hours before the show began. There are no reports about why they went back and forth with the ending of this duel. Bayley will maybe get her rematch at the Extreme Rules PPV, but nothing has been confirmed.
