Who Wins Final Wide Receiver Spot For Dallas Cowboys?

Dallas Cowboys will again have a couple of guys that Dak Prescott can throw the ball to that are versatile and can get the job done. They had a nice wide receiver core a year ago when they won 13 games. Jason Witten was also a great weapon for a young quarterback and will continue being one of the go-to guys for Dak Prescott. While it is likely that Dallas won’t carry more than five wideouts on their team, we don’t know who is going to be that fifth member of the offense.

Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley and Ryan Switzer are likely to make the roster. It is almost a sure thing that these guys will be on the list as Cole Beasley has been great a year ago while Switzer has impressed everybody so far and will maybe even take some time from Cole Beasley on the field. Maybe they will play together, who knows.

The fifth spot is still in the air. Brice Butler, Lucky Whitehead, and Noah Brown are the options for that last guy. While there will be a nice competition in the camp, it is hard to believe that Brice Bulter won’t make the roster. He has the experience from a season ago when he did a nice job contributing as a young guy. He is quick, he is somebody that has the potential of Dez Bryant as he is athletic and can go and just get the ball if it is thrown at least close to him.

While Whitehead and Noah Brown are guys that might find spots on some other team’s 53-men, it is hard for us to believe that anybody is going to beat out Brice. It will take a Herculean effort for one of those two to come in front of Butler.
