Tables, Ladders and Chairs is the second to last Raw-branded pay per view of the year. It also very well might be the worst card that WWE has put together. There are some things that might be interesting to the casual fans, but if you take a closer look, this is a horrible way to book one of your gimmick pay per views. We are going to explain why do we think so.
First of all, watching The Shield is going to be fun on Sunday. Having taken a closer look at this reunion, it is actually a waste of The Shield as they have been brought back together so that WWE can sell some subscriptions and for Roman Reigns to get over with the crowd by association with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
Kane is in the main event, a guy that is 50 years of age and who is running for Mayor in Knox, TN. Think about that for a second. The tag team championships are not going to be defended. The Intercontinental championship won’t be defended. They are all in this main event.
If you take a look at the rest of the card, the only thing that is PPV worthy is the debut of Asuka. Other than that, we are getting a couple of Monday Night Raw matches on a Pay Per View that is supposed to be a big deal.
Alicia Fox vs Sasha Banks. Does anybody really care about this duel? Kalisto against Enzo Amore? Dear Lord, the Cruiserweights haven’t been relevant since the beginning. Jack Gallagher and The Bryan Kendrick going up against Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann is something that should never be on a pay per view. The fact that we have two Cruiserweight matches in this event is just a prime example of WWE having nothing exciting for this show. The cherry on the top of the cake is Finn Balor going up against Bray Wyatt dressed as the Sister Abigail. That alone tells you just how asinine this match is.
When you mix all of this together, you can see why we think that this might be the worst card that WWE has put together this year.
