The release of “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier,” a game based on Robert Kirkman’s zombie black-and-white comic book series, is due on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. The third season of Walking Dead series was supposed to be released already, but it was slightly delayed.
What we could see so far is that the season 3 will depart from the previous seasons of Walking Dead franchise as there will be a largel temporal gap. At the center of the story is Clementine, who is now much older, compared to previous installments. Another change that is brought upon is a new character in the lineup, Javier.
According to Kevin Boyle, the Executive Producer of The Walking Dead series: “When we began this series, we explored what it meant to protect a character like Clementine at all costs. Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his – both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society’s collapse.”
‘The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’ will be playable on consoles Xbox 360, Xbox One PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. The Game of Awards will present “a special extended first look at the premiere episode will be revealed live on stage” on Thursday, the first day of December. And while the season pass editions for Xbox One and Playstation 4 will be available in stores in the first months of the following year, the Steam users will save 10 percent if they decide to pre-order the game. The gamers have many reasons to look forward to it!
