Turning Nakamura Heel Was A Good Decision

We got the match that we have always wanted at Wrestlemania. WWE booked Shinsuke Nakamura to win the Royal Rumble and be the one to challenge AJ Styles at the grandest stage of them all. But, even though that is something we as fans wanted, there was no doubt that the clash was mediocre. It was not because of the two guys in the ring, but because of the company that has probably told them to have a short match since the show overall would have been too long if they had gone on for a bit longer.

It looked like they never got out of that first gear. After the battle, Styles ended up as a winner while Nakamura turned heel on the spot, which was another questionable decision by the WWE. A week after Mania, we can’t say that they made the wrong call.

Heel Nakamura was great on Smackdown Live. It seems that he is going to be that sneaky, funny heel, but a legit one, somebody that can actually kick your behind if you are not careful. They have presented him in a great way in the promo that he had backstage.

That was one of the best parts of the show. He just looks like a crazy guy that is not afraid to get his hands dirty in order to get the job done. If things get tough, he is more than capable of delivering.

These two are going to have a long feud, and having Nakamura as a heel is going to help tell the story and should make the match even better. Hopefully, we are going to get a great battle once these two step in the ring again.
