Vince McMahon is not as creative as he used to be back in the days. His booking decisions are just not what modern wrestling fans want to see, and that is reflecting the product. Many are even calling for him to step down and let somebody else make the major decisions in this company. After all, he is in his mid-70s, and he could just leave and enjoy the money that he has made.
That would be much tougher for him to do if there isn’t somebody that is more than capable of replacing him. But, the fact of the matter is that his son-in-law and former WWE Superstar Triple H has been great as the leader of the NXT. Everybody thinks that he is doing a great job with that brand and it only keeps getting better.
Since the NXT became his own baby, he has always been recruiting people that have made their name on the Indy scene. You can just take a look at the NXT brand over the past couple of years in order to see what caliber of wrestlers he has singed. Right now, a lot of people are talking about Rousey coming to the WWE. She is not a wrestling star, but she is a huge draw. Here is what Triple H had to say about that.
“Ronda has made no secret her whole career that she has been a huge fan of WWE growing up. She has been on the record saying WWE is probably some of the most fun that she has ever had in her entire career. I have been out there publicly saying that if she wants the opportunity I am happy to give it to her. She is looking for the opportunity so it seems like a perfect match-up. I am excited to have the conversation with her and see where it goes.”
