The basic of business and a formula to success is to evolve together with your competition or stay ahead of them all the time. Toyota, the giant company that has its tentacles spread all over the globe knows this best, and that is why they have turned their focus to the models sold on the European market. Sadly, the changes they have planned aren’t much and definitely are not groundbreaking, but they will do the trick, and allow the company to stay in the game.

2017 Toyota Yaris

Apparently, the Yaris subcompact hatchback, which is built in Valenciennes, France, will now available in Tokyo Red which can be applied to monotone and bi-tone versions of the vehicle. The second option brings something additionally, and that is a black wrap-around finish to the upper front wing, hood edge, side mirrors, A-pillars, and roof. One thing will remain unchanged, and that is its hybrid powertrain which will remain identical through 2017, mainly because almost 40% of all European sales of the Yaris are from the eco-friendly Hybrid.

2017 Toyota Auris

In the compact segment, the Auris hatchback and wagon are selling even better than Yaris, with almost 60% of sales. Both of these models will receive the same Tokyo Red hue with the addition of machine faced 17-inch alloy wheels, sports seats, and black Alcantara upholstery. Toyota also has thought about safety, and that is why we are getting the Toyota Safety Sense which will come as standard now, and it will bring things like Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beam, Lane Departure Alert, and Pre-Collision System to the table.

Toyota Verso

This one is a compact multi-purpose vehicle and is probably the oldest vehicle in the Toyota lineup. It has been around since 2009 and considering it has aged “a bit”, the company prepared something special for it. By special we mean high-quality upholstery for mid-range models with red thread and backrests embossed with a red patch, and similar to the Auris, it will also be available with newly designed 17-inch alloys with a machined face finish.

The Avensis

This model has found itself in a bit of a problem lately, according to some indicators. This is mostly because the sales in the mid-size sedan segment have drastically gone down, but to counter that Toyota decided to raise the stakes with Avensis and offer it with Tokyo Red paint and 18-inch wheels. If you ask us, this is pretty weak, and we do not see how this might help increase the sales figures especially with the serious competition from the likes of Mazda6 and Ford Mondeo. Come on Toyota you can do better than that!

One last info for the end. All the models we presented here are now available to order, so get cracking!
