Avengers: Infinity War and its production are currently in progress. In this movie, Thanos will finally be introduced as a complete villain. Since the beginning of MCU, his character has been teased.
His plan is to gather all six infinity stones so he can gain limitless power. And after he gets it, he will aim at destroying all life.
One of the updates claimed that Thanos actually wants to balance out the universe, hence his wish to eliminate the present life in the universe.
Avengers: Infinity War release date is May 4.
