This Is Us Season 2 has been confirmed at NBC. Furthermore, the TV network gave the green light to This Is Us Season 3 as well.

Back in January, when the news was published, the network’s entertainment chief Jennifer Salke said in one of her statements: “This Is Us is as good as anything we’ve ever had. We’re thrilled to renew it for two seasons, and there’s no doubt it will have a long life on NBC.” She also added: “On behalf of everyone at NBC, we’re grateful for the artistry of the cast, crew, and producers assembled by our talented creator, Dan Fogelman. In a world where there are literally hundreds of television dramas, we’re proud to have one of the very best that is also one of the highest-rated.”

In case you’re not familiar with the show, This Is Us is a sweet and occasionally sour drama about an unusual family, which presents all kinds of issues about family, adoption, fame and body image, while at the same time it features a lot of warmth and fun.

The series features excellent actors, such as Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Mandy Moore, and also some very talented children actors. The creator of the series, Dan Fogelman managed to establish different time periods within the show, and in that way, the viewers can follow mom and dad struggling early on, and also the children’s grown-up ventures after a few decades.

If it happens that you still haven’t checked out This Is Us, make sure to give the pilot episode a look. It is so heartwarming that even the coldest people would shed a tear.

As for the release date for Season 2, there still hasn’t been any confirmation about the official premiere date, but we expect for the story to continue in September 2017 when new episodes will appear. We’ll make sure to keep you updated and inform you about the official date once we know it.
