The premiere of latest Dwayne Johnson’s movie Rampage is almost upon us. The Hollywood’s best-paid actor is fully dedicated to promoting this film. He always gives his all to every one of his projects, but, as you probably know, Rampage is a video-game adaptation. When it comes to this type of projects they have a tendency to fail at the box office. Also, they usually get panned by critics.

Going against this is not an easy feat even for People’s Champ. But if you have seen trailer and posters for this film, you can see that there’s something to it. Dwayne Johnson has become a synonym for box office success, and some people expect for this movie to also fair well after its premiere. But, what makes its job harder is that Avengers: Infinity War premiers shortly after Rampage. You know that latest installment of Avengers is the most significant box office draw of the year.

We hope that all goes well for former WWE wrestler and his latest monster blockbuster. If you take a look at the most recent video released by Dwayne Johnson you can see that this is going to be a fantastic action-adventure. Johnson is one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood, and if there’s anyone who can make fighting gigantic animals real, it’s him. Add that dose of humor he carries with him in most of his movies, and you get a family threat out of this film.

As you probably know Rampage is directed by Brad Peyton. In addition to Johnson, the movie also stars Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The story revolves around primatologist Davis Okoye who needs to fight with giant wolf and crocodile with the help of his friend an albino-gorilla called George in order to save the city. The wolf and crocodile are named Ralph and Lizzie respectively. The filming of this movie started in April 2017 in Chicago and the United States release date is set for April 13th, while the worldwide premiere is on April 11th.
