Recently one of the leaders in smartphone industry Apple introduced a set of new features in their iOS update. There is a fix for those who have trouble keeping their AirPods in sight, it’s called ‘Find My AirPods.’ However, Apple also thought of their Apple Watch and Mac users, so they get their fair share of updates too.
Experts from the company came up with a great idea to include ‘Find My AirPods’ since every owner has at least once feared of losing their earphones. Well, we have a solution now. You will be able to find your earphones because in 10.3 iOS update a feature lets you track down you pods through the phone’s GPS.
This feature will be a part of ‘Find My iPhone’ app, and it will help you by showing you the last place earbuds were in the range of your smartphone. It will also signal earbuds to produce a sound so that you can find them easier. Why is this such an important thing? Well, it will potentially save you a lot of money. The replacement of one earbud will set you back for $69. Imagine spending that money on a new earbud and finding the lost one under your bed.
We mentioned that the company also introduced updates for Mac and AppleWatch. Mac got the ‘Night Shift’ feature. This option will change your display settings according to day time. It will use warmer colors to reduce exposure to blue light which is proved to be unhealthy for your sleep. Apple Watch users got the ‘Theater Mode’ in the latest updates which will enable you to turn your screen off until you tap on it so that you don’t get disturbed while playing games or watching movies by Facebook or similar apps with their notifications.
