Tesla Model 3 – Reasons To Buy It And Reasons Not To

Tesla Model 3 is expected to be far better than the previous model and according to the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, there have already been 400,000 pre-orders.

First of all, ever since the Model X, the company has earned five stars for every safety category. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration put the Model S to the test and it ended on the top spot in 2013. Considering that the Model 3 is not on the market yet, there is no doubt that it will be equipped with a lot of new and improved safety features.

Secondly, the performance of the Model 3 is really impressive. It takes this car under six seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph, which is a good result for an electric vehicle. It ranks better than some performance cars, which sometimes add some parts to improve acceleration.

Last but not least, the new car will cost $35,000, which makes it affordable. Just for comparison, the Model X starts at $80,000 whereas you can buy the Model S for $70,000.

However, if you are impatient, you can purchase the Nissan Leaf for $29,875. Although this car takes 10.4 seconds to go from 0-60 mpg, you can use the additional $6,000 you would spend on Tesla and upgrade your Leaf.

The safety is an advantage for Tesla, but it is also a downside. Lately, there have been several reports about the autopilot failure and accidents which occurred due to this failure. However, this happened with the Model S and hopefully, it would not be the case with Model 3. Be that as it may, this is definitely something to consider.

The choice is up to you. Feel free to speak you mind in the comment section.
