Superman Still Missing From Justice League Posters

Justice League is set to premiere in the U.S. in less than a month but Warner Bros. is still not showing Superman on the posters, nor they are giving any info about the involvement of this character in the next movie of the franchise. A couple of days ago another poster was published, and we can see all members of the Justice League minus Superman.

We see similar approach like it was the case in the previous trailers and on recent images related to the film. We could see this character in a photo that was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con all the way back in 2016. He also made a brief appearance in the dream that Lois Lane had.

Everything, except for what Warner Bros. is showing, is clearly indicating that Superman is not dead and that he will return for this movie. The first clue was given in Batman v Superman when we were teased with his possible return from the grave. Other than that we could see Henry Cavill, the actor that plays Superman, using his Instagram account to confirm that he is doing reshoots for the movie.

One of the possibilities is that the Superman is alive and that he will make an appearance in the movie but that he might not be the good guy during the entire film. This surely would be a spoiler, and that might be the main reason why the production company isn’t showing this superhero.

All in! Well, almost #JusticeLeague

Here is what Danny Elfman had to say about this issue: “I instated a moment of the Wonder Woman theme that Hans Zimmer did for Batman Vs. Superman, but I also had two minutes where I had the pleasure of saying, “Let’s do John Williams’ Superman.” and that for me was heaven, because now I have a melody to twist, and I’m using it in an actually very dark way, in a dark moment. It’s the kind of thing that some fans will notice. Some won’t. It’s a moment where we’re really not sure whose side he’s on.”

We know that the dark suit was used for Superman to heal after a huge battle against Doomsday, but maybe there is something else behind this. We could see a direction in which it could bring much darker meaning to the whole story. In case that all this is some kind of a spoiler, we hope that the team will build up the tension all the way up until the release of Justice League that has been scheduled for November 17, in the U.S.
