There is no doubt that Roman Reigns is one of the most hated superstars not only in the WWEÂ but in the world of wrestling. The company has tried to push him as a top babyface in the company just like they did with Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and many others. But, he hasn’t been nearly as successful as those guys since the fans nowadays are much smarter, they see that the company wants to push somebody down their throats and they rejected Roman as their guy.
He does have the look of a top wrestler, he is very good in the ring as he has improved a lot over the last couple of years. The fans don’t want to give him credit for that since most of them really don’t like anything related to Roman, which is not fair to him as a performer. He hasn’t been put in the best position to succeed considering his skill set and what he is good at compared to the areas in which he still needs to improve.
The fact of the matter is that he is still a young superstar, somebody that has a lot of time at the top ahead of him if he continues to work hard and improve. Stone Cold has recently talked about whether or not WWE should give up on what they are trying to do with Roman. Here is what he had to say about that.
“I think Roman is a star and I think WWE needs to continue to go down the path they’re going with him. They don’t need to flip him heel just arbitrarily to make the fans happy. I think Roman is a star. Now with that being said, is there still room for him to learn and grow? Oh, hell yeah. By leaps and bounds. He’s nowhere near where he will be in three of four years.”
