Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) To Introduce “Cut Your Bill In Half” Scheme To Mobile Apps Soon

Sprint Corp (NYSE:S), one of the major internet carriers and telecommunications company in the United States, has decided to take a leap forward in their marketing efforts. This time it is though a mobile app developed for iOS of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL). The app will be launched in the coming weeks.

The company has introduced a lucrative scheme called “Cut your bill in half” recently. It offered to halve the price of plans for customers who are switching from carriers like AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Verizon Wireless. The price reduction was introduced for data, voice, and text. The customers would be presented with Sprint plans for reduced price once they verify their claim. In addition, the company would offer unlimited calls in the United States over the network.

This scheme has seen a great marketing push by the company. The company seems to have expanded their efforts into creation of mobile app to lure more customers from other network carriers.

The mobile app will be launched soon on Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s App Store. Customers will be able to download their phone bill from their wireless carriers. They can then compare and analyze their plans on their cellphone. They can select the best plan for them from Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) and choose to opt for the plan by completing the transaction through their phone.

Customers will be able to see their savings right on their handset. Such a mobile app can be a fun way for customers to browse through the plans offered by the company and analyze the plan that best suits their needs.

The app also supposedly includes a feature called Direct 2 You, where the customer can fix a meeting with a Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) employee.

Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) has enjoyed some degree of success with its “Cut your bill half Event”. The company is trying to expand the reach to more consumers. A mobile app is definitely an attractive way to do just that.
