Sony Corp (ADR)(SNE) PS4 To Allow YouTube Sharing Later This Year

YouTube sharing for the first time will be included in a video gaming console from Sony Corp (ADR)(NYSE:SNE), the PlayStation4, with the help of an app designed for the device that will become functional at a later time of the current year. This move was announced at the E3 2014 event by the company, and it was revealed that quickly uploading video captures to their channel will be enabled for the gamers with the help of the share button. The videos shared by the friends will appear in the ‘What’s New’ feed and this feature will allow the gamers to see those videos.   

PS4 will also come with an additional facility of interacting with the gamers as informed by the head of Sony Computer Entertainment, Shawn Layden.

GTA V on PS4, Xbox One and PC

The first trailer of the game Grand Theft Auto V was shown by Sony Corp (ADR)(NYSE:SNE)’s on the console at the E3 2014 event and this game will come to the PlayStation 4 this fall as informed by the company. It will be possible for gamers with old devices such as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to transfer their characters and the online progress that they made over to the PlayStation4. The popular game will also be available on Xbox One and PC at the same time.

Last year, the sales records were broken by Grand Theft Auto V and the company has high expectations from this game and for PS4 owners it is considered as a big draw.

Xbox One in Asia

At the same event, it has been confirmed by Microsoft Corporation(NASDAQ:MSFT) that beginning September 23; Xbox One will be available for sale in Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Taiwan. Xbox One system — complete with the Xbox One console — as well as the Kinect-powered version can be bought by the customers in these countries.

As is the case in Western markets, a 14-day trial of the Xbox Live Gold subscription service along with a free Xbox One Wireless Controller will be received by the customers in these countries. Later in the year, other Asian markets that include Korea and Japan will get the gaming console at the same time.
