Seth Rollins Possibly Missing Wrestlemania With Knee Injury

It’s been a bad 24 hours for Seth Rollins. His program with Triple H finally kicked off this weekend as it was planned for Rollins to interrupt the NXT Takeover San Antonio. The two met face to face on Saturday, and they met on Monday Night Raw. Plans for their match at Wrestlemania 33 were in motion.

But, WWE will maybe have to change their plans. Multiple reports are saying that The Architect re-injured his surgically repaired knee during Samoa Joe’s attack on Monday Night Raw. It is believed that this is not a storyline and that the injury is quite real. Rollins will be evaluated this week, and the results will determine whether or not he’ll be able to perform on the grandest stage of them all.

Rollins missed last year’s Wrestlemania with the same knee injury so it would be devastating for him to miss another WM, his second in a row. WWE creative will probably know Rollins’ status and if it is going in the right direction by the end of the week, and they will book Monday Night Raw and this Wrestlemania season accordingly. If he is not able to be in the ring for the foreseeable future, we will get a new angle on Monday Night Raw.

There were rumors that Samoa Joe was planned to be on SmackDown Live, but those plans changed as he was supposed to participate in event with Rollins. Now with this injury, WWE officials might decide to put Samoan Submission Machine on Tuesday nights as those were the original plans. All will be clear when doctors update everybody on Seth Rollins status.
