After, what’s been a long four weeks for Dallas Cowboys, their All-Pro linebacker Sean Lee is set to return in Week 14. The last match he played was the loss against Atlanta Falcons, where he only lasted for a half of the game. In the second period of that duel, he has suffered a hamstring injury which sidelined him for four weeks. But, now he seems ready to start practicing after Cowboys dealt with his injury patiently. The next match on the schedule is divisional round clash against New York Giants following Sunday.

When asked about Sean Lee’s condition, America’s Team head coach Jason Garrett said: “Yeah, we anticipate him to be able to go through everything tomorrow and then practice on Wednesday. We’ll take his situation one day at a time this week.”

While Garrett didn’t want to be precise on Lee’s condition, the linebacker was confident in his health saying that he’s ‘good to go.’

This season was full of ups and downs for Sean. When healthy he was playing like an all-star linebacker that he is, but injuries hampered his season. He appeared in only seven games in which he had 62 tackles, and seven tackles for loss. The problem was his hamstring injury due to which he missed five matches. In those five clashes without him, Cowboys are 1-4, with their only win coming last week against Washington Redskins.

When interviewed on Monday Lee said: “You never want to miss time, but it becomes worse when we have some tough losses, and you’re not out there for your teammates, and you’re letting them down. That’s what I think the hardest part of dealing with the injuries have been, feeling like you’re letting your teammates down in situations where you can help.”

Having Sean Lee back in starting lineup would be colossal boast considering that he is their best defender. Cowboys next opponent, the NY Giants are one of the worst teams in NFL this season, and Lee’s presence on the filed should seal the victory for the squad on that day.
