In the most meaningless game of the week, the Los Angeles Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers in LA. Niners haven’t won a match since week one while the Rams have won just one duel in their past ten tries. Yikes. This is going to be a slugfest. Well, at least somebody’s losing streak is going to come to an end, or, what if they end up tied? That would be hilarious.
49ers had a good start to the season as they have beaten the Rams 28:0 on an opening night of Monday Night Football. The defense led them to that win, but the fact of the matter is that their defense is nowhere nearly as good as they were at the beginning of the year. A lot of players that were on the field in Week 1 will not be available on Sunday.
Rams offense has been putrid over the course of this season. This offensive line is awful and can’t block or protect their quarterback. The defense is decent, but they have to do entirely too much. As a result of that, they are getting exposed from time to time. Now, Jeff Fisher is gone, this season is over for the Rams, and now they need to regroup and make some decisions for the future. The same can be said for the Niners.
This is a tough game to pick as both teams have had a forgetful season. Still, one of these two squads will come out on top. We are going to pick the Niners to snap their long losing streak. Kaepernick will be able to move the ball as he has been able to in some matches this season. San Francisco will end up victorious in this one 26:17.
