Samsung Galaxy A9 (2017) is the New Device Samsung is Developing

It seems that, lately, Samsung’s primary goal has been to develop low and mid-range series of smartphones, as they are currently working on the new Galaxy A9 (2017). It is expected that the company will present a series of phones, in addition to Galaxy A9.

According to the post on Weibo, Galaxy A9 (2017) is currently being developed by the South Korean company. Unfortunately, there are not many details about the smartphone itself, except that its code number will be SM-A9200.

The company is also working on a series of smartphones next to this one. Anyway, new iterations of Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 suppose to appear. The code number for those three phones will be SM-A320F, SM-520F, and SM A720F respectively.

Apparently, Galaxy A5 (2017) has been seen on the benchmarking site. The processor for the A5 (2017) is supposed be 1.87GHz octa-core Exynos 78820 with 3GB of RAM. The operating system is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the display will be 5.2-inches.

Apparently, Galaxy A9 served as an inspiration to the new A9 (2017). Galaxy A9 which came out last year has a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, 2.5D curved glass and the resolution is full HD. Moreover, the processor is 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 combined with the Adreno 510 graphics processing unit. Comparing to the A5 the operating system here is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The internal memory of the last year’s A9 is 32GB and there are 3GB of RAM. The front camera has 8MP whereas rear one comes with 13MP and both are capable of recording full HD videos.
