Former WWE superstar and the brother of Roman Reigns, Matt “Rosey” Anoa’i, passed away more than a week ago. He was the son of the WWE Hall of Famer Sika. There is no doubt that he left a lot of people sad when he died last Monday, and one of them is his brother Roman Reigns. A week after his passing, The Big Dog finally talked about how he’s feeling right in these tough times.

Reigns noted that this is a difficult period for him and that he just feels weird right now. But, he said that having a big family and a lot of people around him really helps as it makes it just a bit less painful that his brother is no longer with him. Roman comes from a big Samoan family, and there is no doubt that they are helping each other in dealing with the death on Rosey.

WWE superstar also took the time to thank all of his fans and all the people that reached out to him as he was dealing with this tragic thing that happened to him. He just wants to continue to represent his family and his brother to the best of his abilities. The first chance for Reigns to do just that is this Sunday when he is going to go 1-on-1 with The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

The Big Dog was also asked about that matchup and here is what he had to say about that duel happening as he’s dealing with Rosey’s passing.

“Physically, I’m as beat up as I am emotionally. This has been two of the roughest weeks of my professional career and life. I’ve never experienced a loss this close since my only blood brother, but I’ve also never experienced a beatdown like Braun Strowman gave me.”
