Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets – Week 7 Picks And Predictions

Both of these teams are in a slump. Ravens do have a better record, but they have lost three straight games in which they haven’t looked good at all. At least there is some intrigue with the Jets now when Geno Smith is their starting quarterback. It just couldn’t get any worse that it was with Fitzpatrick throwing it to the other team more than to his own.

Ravens have failed to get into the right rhythm offensively. Terrence West is running the ball well, but Joe Flacco just can’t find his receivers on a regular basis. Steve Smith Sr. has missed some time because of the injury, but still, this offense should produce much more than they did so far.

Jets are right now in a horrible spot. They playoff dreams are long gone and their season is most likely over already. Geno Smith is now at quarterback so that at least gives Jets’ fans a reason to watch this team. Who knows, maybe this last shot that he is getting turns out to be a great decision by coach Todd Bowles.

We think that, at least for this week, it’s a good decision. We are picking Jets to win this game against the reeling Ravens. They are on their home field in New York, and they will show some fire in this duel.

Geno Smith will actually be good enough on Sunday for Jets to win this match. He just might take this job for the rest of the season with one or two good performances. We like the Jets in this one and 24:14 seems like a realistic score at the end.
