Ranking All AFC North Teams Before 2017 NFL Draft

AFC North is always one of the toughest divisions to predict every single year. They usually have three teams that are more than capable of winning the division and having a good Playoff run. Last year, it was the Pittsburgh Steelers that dominated the division in the second half of the season and made a run to the AFC Championship game where they fell to the Patriots in Foxboro. Are they still the best team in the AFC North?

4) Cleveland Browns – When we mentioned that this division has three squads that can challenge for the crown, the one team that we didn’t include are the Browns. Even though they are going to win more than one game in 2017, they still got a lot of work to do. The defense needs to be reworked while the offense needs some weapons and a quarterback. Browns have a lot of first and second round picks in the next two drafts, including a 1st overall pick in this year’s draft. They should use this to improve.

3) Cincinnati BengalsMarwin Lewis still has a job with the Bengals even though he has failed to win a Playoff match for over a decade. This team lost two offensive lineman and some good defensive players. If they want to beat the Ravens and Steelers, they need to use the draft to fill the voids that exist right now. Taking an o-lineman early should be their main goal.

2) Baltimore Ravens – This is always a tough team to beat. They were one of the best defensive squads in the NFL last year with one of the best coaches in the game. Steve Smith Sr. is not on the roster anymore so they might be looking for a wideout early in the draft. Some explosive weapons for Flacco to work with would go a long way for this franchise.

1) Pittsburgh SteelersMike Tomlin’s squad is still on the top of the division. They are just way too talented on the offensive side of the ball as they have the Killer B’s in Brown, Big Ben, and Le’Veon Bell. When you add Bryant who is returning this season after the suspension, you have one of the best offenses in the NFL.
