Oakland Raiders fans haven’t seen their team playing in the Playoffs for more than a decade. This franchise has one of the best fans that you’ll ever see. It’s a shame that they don’t get to see their squad in the postseason action. Well, that might change this year as they are 6-2 now after a huge overtime win in Tampa.

Raiders were one of the best when it comes to attacking and the offensive side of the ball as they were coming to this game. They had another great game on offense, but their defense was also impressive, especially in the OT where they stepped up and stopped Tampa on multiple occasions. Derek Carr and company gave them the biggest return gift – a huge 41-yard TD completion to end the game.

Derek Carr threw the ball 59 times and completed 40 of those throws. He finished the game with career-high 513 passing yards and four touchdowns. Carr has a lot of weapons and obviously knows how to use them. Amari Cooper had himself a game with 12 receptions for 173 receiving yards and a TD.

Janikowski did miss a 52-yarder to end the game in OT, but Raiders came back and scored a touchdown on a beautiful hookup between Carr and Roberts.

Raiders are now leading the division. Even if they don’t win it, they have a great shot at making the postseason. But, the work for them is not finished. Their defense still needs to improve, and looking at the scoreboard and recent performances they are moving in the right direction. Oakland has been in a lot of close games so far. The fact that they are winning most of them says a lot about the character of this squad.
