Raiders Are Off To Their Best Start In More Than Decade

After three gutsy wins on the road, the Oakland Raiders are off to their best start to the season in quite some time. They are now 3-1, ready to contend for a Playoff spot. This franchise has had a lot of losing seasons in the last decade, and their fans should be delightful after this start.

This is their best start since 2003 and this season is looking good for the Raiders. Their offense is clicking and winning them games. Derek Carr has kind of gone under the radar this season, but if his team keeps winning, he will turn some heads.

He went 25/35 for 199 yards and 4 TDs with no picks. On the end of three of those four TD tosses, was Michael Crabtree who finished the game with 78 receiving yards. All the attention is always on Amari Cooper, and that is great news for Crabtree. He is just catching touchdown after touchdown and is seeing a lot of the balls come his way in the red zone. And in the end zone also.

They really didn’t focus on the running game, but they’ll need to do that in the coming weeks in order to keep opposing defenses at their toes and not allowing them just to concentrate on the pass plays. Their defense was quite decent in Baltimore, and they need them if they want to battle with Broncos and others for that divisional title. They are still far away from that, but they made a step in the right direction with this win against the Ravens.
