We have mentioned that there were other items from the space-themed film and TV memorabilia. A collection of 23 ships from Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers sold for $1.8 million. A helmet from the set of Aliens, which was worn by the legendary Bill Paxton sold for $51,000.

Some argue that items available at this auction were all from this world. Well, they are wrong. The legendary lighted dance floor from Saturday Night Fever sold for whopping $1.2 million.
