Everybody knew that this matchup wasn’t as good as it could have been if Big Ben Roethlisberger was healthy. Unfortunately, Landry Jones was on the field for the Steelers, and it was a relatively easy win for the Patriots on the road. Steelers gave them run for their money until the end of the first and at the start the second half.

Tom Brady didn’t have a huge day, but it appeared that he really didn’t have to do that. Patriots secondary was in control against the Landy Jones-led Steelers’ offense. New England’s quarterback finished the game with 222 passing yards and two touchdowns without picks. He went 19/26 on his way to over two hundred yards passing.

LaGerrette Blount was the man in Patriots offense as he ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns. They were giving him the ball a lot in the second half. He used most of his opportunities and delivered big time. Steelers just couldn’t find an answer for him and his great performance.

Le’Veon Bell was heavily involved in Mike Tomlin’s game plan, and he did show why he was one of the best RBs in the league. He gets some yards that in situations nobody in the NFL really could. His strength combined with the quickness and speed is what makes him so deadly. He finished this match with 81 running and 68 passing yards.

Steelers are now 4-3, and they have a bye week coming up. Then, there is a crucial game against the Bengals that they need to win in order to stay at the top of the North. Patriots, on the other hand, are leading the conference and preparing for a rematch with the Bills on Sunday.
