Now, Nokia Corporation (NOK)’s Single Sim Moneypenny Screenshots Leaked With 4G Support

Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) would launch its new smartphone dubbed as Moneypenny in single and dual-Sim variant claims fresh pictures leaked at Twitter by tipster @evleaks. The leaked screenshots show the start screen of the new device codenamed as the Nokia Moneypenny, and the phone is seen having single Sim and 4G support.

Moneypenny may be Lumia 635

The tweet by @evleaks reads, “Moneypenny (635 flavor).” The tweet indicates that the alleged Nokia Moneypenny might come in two SIM variants – single and dual. It is highly expected that the dual-SIM version of the Moneypenny might be targeted at emerging markets like India.

The name suggests that Nokia would launch Moneypenny as Lumia 635 in the market under its third generation Lumia series of phones.

Further, the leaked screenshot shows Live Tiles on the Moneypenny’s start screen including Nokia MixRadio, HERE Maps, Internet Explorer, Photos, SkyDrive, and Microsoft Office, Instagram, Asphalt 8, Vine and Vimeo app for Windows Phone. Like the previous pictures the phone, the current screenshot also includes buttons for back, start and Bing Search instead of capacitive touch buttons.

Earlier, the screenshots posted by @evleaks showed that Moneypenny might be first dual-Sim Windows phone. Also, earlier reports indicated that the MoneyPenny from Nokia might be the first Lumia devices to be powered with upgraded Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, which is dubbed as Blue.

It is widely believed that Nokia is working on Goldfinger smartphone also, which would be the premium priced phone, whereas Moneypenny would be a budget phone. According to the previous reports, Nokia Goldfinger would have Nokia’s ‘3D Touch’ technology allowing users to toggle the touch screen interface without actually touching the display along with flipping and scrolling.

Recently, the Finnish phone maker released a new feature phone in India at Rs 1,399 (approx $25). The new phone Nokia 106 comes in three colours Black, Red and White, and would be delivered in five working days if purchased online.

The Nokia 106 is a single-Sim device supporting a mini sim. Other specs of this feature phones are 1.8-inch QVGA display with 128×160 pixels resolution and sports a pixel density of 114ppi, alphanumeric keypad, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, digital clock, calculator, flashlight, calendar, speaking clock, alarm clock, and reminder.
