These two teams are coming off a huge Week 6 wins. Saints were able to knock out their divisional rivals Panthers late in the fourth with a game-winning field goal, while the Chiefs also handled their rivals Raiders, but it came on the road, and it was convincing. Who’s going to win this one and climb out to the top?
Saints offense is still rolling with Drew Brees under center. No matter who he has as his weapons, he is still doing his thing, and it’s a shame that Saints just continue to fail and give him respectable defenses. Still, this man is capable of winning some big time games, and he did it against the Panthers.
Chiefs are getting healthy and getting into that mode in the second half of the season in which they just run over their opponents. They were on a roll in the latter part of the last season, and it just looks that they will peak at the right time this year as well.
Alex Smith is not on the same level as Drew Brees, but Jamal Charles is better than any Saints running back. He will have another week to get close to 100 percent, and we can expect big things from Charles against this bad Saints defense.
We are picking the Chiefs in this game. They are hot after that 26:10 win in Oakland, and we think they will handle Saints at Arrowhead. Kansas City will win this match 28:23.
