Jeff and Matt Hardy are beloved all around the world. Jeff was always the more popular one, but now, in later stages of their careers, it seems that Matt is the one that everybody wants to see. His Broken Matt gimmick is something that nobody else thought off, it is original, and that’s why he is cheered in the wrestling world.
Jeff left a bigger mark in the WWE, but these guys would be good additions on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live. Both tag team divisions have problems with not having enough teams to compete. Alpha of America doesn’t have good enough challengers on Smackdown Live while Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were given the titles just because there are no other teams to carry it as the company is probably planning for Enzo Amore and Big Cass to win the gold at the grandest stage of them all, the Wrestlemania 33.
It’s well known that Hardy Boys still haven’t signed a new deal with the TNA brand and they will be free agents in April. Everybody is talking about them possibly appearing on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania. If they do that, the show that they go to will benefit from that instantly. If they return, they will probably be on the red brand.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the Hardys possibly returning to WWE is “certainly in the ballgame if not likely.” As of a week ago, the Hardys were telling people that they can’t commit to indy dates after April 30th, which probably means that there were talks between them and the WWE about them again joining the company.
