Deadpool 2 marketing campaign is gaining speed, and a new poster has been revealed by the movie lead Ryan Reynolds. The poster is anything but conventional, but we saw that coming from the first Deadpool 2 poster that was a riff on Norman Rockwell.
As you can see, the new poster is an adaptation of Michelangelo’s work of art – “The Creation of Adam.” However, instead of Adam and God, we have Deadpool and Josh Brolin’s Cable. The banner arrives at the right time, before the holiday season, to remind the fans that the new R-rated Deadpool movie is right around the corner.
Moreover, it will be interesting to watch, after we see the film, whether this poster was trying to tell us something. We believe that there is no hidden message here and the folks behind the movie want the fans to have a little laugh.
There are some new faces in the crew behind Deadpool 2, and David Leitch is the movie’s director. We expect to see new characters in the upcoming sequel as well, with Josh Brolin leading the way as Cable and Zazie Beets as Domino. Besides them, Brianna Hildebrand, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, T.J. Miller and Leslie Uggams will appear in their respective roles from the original film.
Deadpool 2 will be premiered on June 1, 2018, and while you are waiting, you can read the official description of the movie below:
“After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of se*ually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”
