New 2018 Jeep Wrangler spied inside!

Yes, we all recently witnessed the leaked renderings as well as the spy shots of the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler, but that was all to give you a general idea of what to expect from it outside. Now we bring you spy shots of this, if I may say pretty upscale, interior. The spy photographers have been lucky with this one and brought us much of the SUV’s interior mostly uncovered, and as far as we see it, the Jeep made a nice transition from the cabin of the current model to what we see here.

The first thing you will notice is that this prototype is hosting a stick shift meaning it has a manual transmission attached to the engine. This also means once again you will have to work through the gears if you want to drive this one but do not be alarmed, the expectations are that it will also offer an eight-speed automatic besides this six-speed manual and a turbocharged 2.0 L “Hurricane” inline-four unit as one of the engine options.

Next conspicuous thing is the Fiat Chrysler‘s latest UConnect system which now lacks those side buttons previous models had, and this certainly gives out more sleek and elegant feel to this unit. As you can see, one more change has been implemented, and that is the circular air vents that are now located on the sides of this screen rather than below it. Also, as far as we can see it, it is very likely that the new 2018 Wrangler will grace us with a heated steering wheel, heated seats, and dual-zone climate control.

The bottom part of the center console hosts a whole bunch of off-road trinkets such as sway bar disable as well as auxiliary control switches for add-on features. As you can see the switches that control the windows are also on the center console meaning that the new gen Wrangler will also offer removable doors just like it did so far.
