NB and Adidas will be ending their partnership at the end of the 2016/2017 season. Starting next year, Nike will provide all teams with the jerseys, and some major changes are coming. Sports equipment giant is expected to present their new outfit in very near future, and it will be interesting to see how will they look.

Adidas debuted their long sleeved jerseys back in 2013. Just a couple of seasons had it in their debut year, namely the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers. Those are the two teams that featured these long sleeve jerseys. Now, almost every team is using them on a regular basis, they were featured in the 2014 NBA All-Star match and even as Christmas Jerseys couple of years ago. Cavaliers used their long sleeved combo in Games 5 and 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. They will be remembered for sure.

But, now with Nike in charge of the jersey’s design, it seems that we can cut the sleeves and put those models deep in our closets. According to multiple reports, Nike has no intention of producing those for next season. It’s going to be a bit weird watching the NBA now without these uniforms as pretty much everybody is now used to seeing them all around the league.

On the other hand, they have received mixed comments ever since they appeared and that’s us being kind. A lot of players and fans hated them, with LeBron James being pretty vocal when it came to his dislike of the new outfit. It’s safe to say that they won’t be missed by many fans and many players.
