NBA Friday Predictions: Sacramento Kings vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Source:oregonlive.com

Blazers and the Kings will meet tonight in this exciting Western Conference showdown. The Kings are having their typical kind of season. They are always making some noise when the year begins with some good performances, but they also have those in which they lose to an opponent they should have beaten.

Blazers are off to a decent start to the season. Probably nothing more and nothing less than we expected. Damian Lillard is playing well, and so is CJ McCollum. This duo will need to lead the company from Portland all year long if they want to return to the place they were last season. To the Playoffs as that is one of their goals.

This has all it takes to be a high-scoring affair. The offense is what both of these squads are known for. We do not have some great matchups in this game as we expect both Lillard and Cousins to dominate the player that they are playing up against directly.

Portland struggled against the Clippers in their last duel. They need to play better and improve performances. Rudy Gay has shown up this season so he might have a big game in this one too. This is the second night of a back-to-back for the Kings, so it’s tough for us to pick them to be victors here.

Both Lillard and Cousins will score more than 30 points for their teams while CJ and Gay will add more than 20 each, but Portland will find a way to get the job done on their home floor. In this high-scoring contest, Portland will squeak out with 115:110 win.
