My Hero Academia, or as it is also called Boku No Hero Academia is ready for the next season, which is supposed to be released on April 1, 2017.

The new trailer has been posted so that the fans can see what to expect in the upcoming Season 2. In the trailer, you can see two new quirks of the characters called Eijiro Kirishima who will be voiced by Toshiki Masuda and Denki Kaminari voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka. Eijiro has red hair and he is a student who possesses Hardening that allows him to harden any part of his body and thus becomes nearly invincible. The other one, Denki has the Charge quirk and this means that he can control the electricity, absorb it or give off as much as he desires. They are students of class 1-A of U.A. High School, famous for aspiring heroes.

We don’t know what the plot of the second season is going to be but rumor has it that it will kick off with the Sports Festival Arc after which it will follow the manga. The Season 1 was the perfect adaptation of the manga since it didn’t skip any part of it and it ended in the middle of Chapter 21. The new season will have two times more episodes than the previous one, which is good news for the fans.

Not only is My Hero Academia popular in Japan, but it is also rated as the third most popular in the US, according to the BookScan February list. At the first and second place are John Lewis’s “March” books, while the fourth and fifth spot belongs to “Tokyo Ghoul” and “The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition Vol.2” respectively.

For the record, the author of My Hero Academia is Kohei Horikoshi and this manga still hasn’t ended. It currently has 12 volumes and 128 chapters and Izuku Midoriya is the main character who possesses the One For All quirk and who will become a great hero someday.
