As it appears the soccer teams are giving an early chance to their young players who have a great potential. First of all, Karamoko Dembele, who is only 13, played his first game with Celtic U20. However, Galatasaray decided to do something even more sensational.

The Galatasaray manager, Jan Olde Riekerink, let the 14-year-old boy, Mustafa Kapi on the pitch. This is Mustafa’s first game with the senior squad. This isn’t even a youth team or reserve squad, which would also be a great opportunity and honor for him. Mustafa was born in 2002 and he played his debut with a senior team against Levski Sofia in a friendly encounter.

For the record, Galatasaray has won 20 Super Lig titles in Turkey. Moreover, they played in the Championship League last season and they won UEFA Cup in 2000.

Kapi entered the game in 89th minute. That may not sound like much, but it meant a lot to him. After the match he approached the coach hugged him and thanked him for the opportunity. He will surely look at it as a motivation and continue to practice even harder. Who knows, maybe we will watch Kapi in a few years on a regular basis.
