Is It A Mistake For Cowboys To Put Tony Romo In?

Source:newsday.com

Dallas Cowboys have a good thing going on. They are the best team in the NFC right now and are showing no signs of slowing down. The results and their performances prove that they are the top dogs who are out there on the field proving that every single week.

So, will it be a mistake for them to risk all that chemistry just so Jerry Jones can have his way and Romo on the field?

It’s a bit absurd that Jerry wants him in the game just so he doesn’t regret the fact that he didn’t put him and that his squad won the Super Bowl without Romo. This attempt to make everybody believe that Tony is the right choice is his desperate try to prove to everyone that he made the right decision by paying Romo the money that he is earning right now.

It looks like he just wants to feed his ego and prove himself right. He is not thinking about what his fanbase wants, what has proven to be successful this season. There is no doubt about the fact that Dak Prescott is what is best for this team now and going forward.

It’s a shame that Jones doesn’t recognize that. But, on the other hand, this is who he’s been all these years and this kind of moves are not surprising when Jerry Jones makes them. Good business decisions but bad football ones are what he does and what he is known for. This mistake will be just another football mistake made by this man. It is a real shame since it almost looks like he doesn’t care about what effect this will have on Prescott and his removal from the field for no apparent reason. And we are talking about future QB of this franchise.
