Mission: Impossible 6 Premiere in Summer 2018

A release date for Mission: Impossible 6 has been set by Skydance Media and Paramount Pictures. It is supposed to come out in summer of 2018. The sixth part will hit theaters on July 27, 2018, to be more precise. Although still not definitely stated, the same date is set for Aquaman by Warner Bros. Pictures, so it will be interesting to see box office battle of these two giants.

Another big project from Paramount, Downsizing is supposed to come out in winter of 2017. Alexander Payne’s next movie in which Matt Damon will take the lead role is set to release on December 22, 2017.

The production of the Mission: Impossible 6 is to begin in the spring of 2017. Both director and writer of it is the same man who was in charge of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Christopher McQuarrie.

When it comes to the cast of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which came out in 2015, it consists of many famous names who are said to be returning for the latest sequel of the film. Some of them are Alec Baldwin, who appeared in ’30 Rock’ and ‘The Departed’, Ving Rhames, whom we watched in ‘Dawn of the Dead’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’.

Furthermore, we have Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Simon McBurney. Renner starred in ‘Kill the Messenger’ and ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’, we saw Pegg in ‘Star Trek’ and ‘The World’s End’ while McBurney was part of the cast in ‘The Last King of Scotland’ and ‘The Theory of Everything’. The one who confirmed to be taking her role again is Rebecca Ferguson. We also watched her in ‘Hercules’ and ‘The Red Tent’.

McQuarrie’s directing Mission: Impossible for the second time is the first time one director has been behind more than one part of the movie. The original adaptation was in the hands of Brian De Palma, succeeded by John Woo, J.J, Abrams and Brad Bird.
