Minnesota Vikings vs. Buffalo Bills – Preseason Week 1 Predictions

These are the two teams that were on the verge of competing for the Playoffs last season but didn’t have that one extra gear late in 2016 that should have pushed them to the Postseason. This game is going to be a fresh start for both teams that look like they do have some good pieces. But, is it enough for them to have a successful 2017 season?

Bills have decided that they are going to stick with Tyrod Taylor, which was a good decision. There was really not a lot of quality quarterbacks on the market so the Bills made the decision to give Tyrod another run. Injuries play a big part in some players careers and we are hoping that Sammy Watkins is not going to be another guy that never reached his potential because of them.

They will probably give him some looks during the Preseason, but the Bills are not going to overplay their star wideout. LeSean McCoy is going to be a vital part of the offense and we should be seeing him at the start of this game as well.

On the other hand, the Vikings are a great defensive team. They dominated the first part of the last season, but have fallen off later. Bradford is a decent option for this team. Bridgewater? What is going to happen to him and his career? There is some doubt about if he is even going to be able to play again in the NFL after the injury he suffered last year. This is the situation that should be monitored and it is likely why the Vikes won’t be one of the best in the NFC.

At the end of the day, both teams will give some looks to their starters in this game, but also their backup. The strength of Vikings defense should be enough for them to win this game 24:17.
