MSN to be Shut Down
Total unique worldwide visitors to MSN in the month of October stood at 6.77 million according to comScore data; without the help of other unique products like Bing and Skype the figure stood at 3.79 million. An insider at Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has reportedly told Business insider that the company might consider shutting down MSN as it is down by 20-60% on page views.
Shutting down MSN will not be a toll order for Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), which already has a news section and is already in the process of programming news on its homepage. Bing will reportedly be positioned in future, to acts as the consumer default page for the giant software company.
