The leading tech giant Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is looking forward to opening a flagship store in Sydney. If everything goes fine, it will become the first flagship store of the company outside North American region.

Road Ahead

As per the reports made public by the company, the new flagship store will be based out of the Westfield Sydney on Pitt Street Mall over two levels. The location is very popular and within the reach of the normal public. The store will be located right next to the Sephora store that was opened recently. The primary objective of opening this new flagship store is to boost the sales of different products of the company. Microsoft will look forward to selling Windows PCs, Windows Phones, Surface devices, Office software, and Xbox One consoles at this store.

The company wants to ensure that consumers feel privileged to visit this store; hence, it has introduced servicing facility as well. Customers can bring any of their complaints regarding Microsoft products and services to this store and get a suitable solution within moments. Apart from this, they will also be able to troubleshoot, repair and get full support for all the Microsoft products, smartphones, and different Windows products.

The company has claimed that this store will not be just a retail store like others. Apart from selling products, the company will also organize different workshops, community events, training sessions, etc. It will support technology, science, mathematics and engineering education. Even though the company hasn’t given the exact opening date, but people close to this matter claim it to open during Christmas rush.

Jonathan Adashek, General Manager, Communication Strategy, Microsoft Stores, states that the management was planning to open a store in Sydney for a very long time, but couldn’t find the perfect space. It will look forward to opening these flagship stores in other parts of the world in the near future.
