In recent reports, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has confirmed that they have looked into the issue preventing Xbox Live subscribers from accessing online services, and have fixed them. In an official message, they conveyed this with a sense of encouragement – “Connecting to Xbox should be good to go now!”

They had confirmed that there were known issues in social and gaming services of the Xbox Live system. Most of these problems including the ones concerning cloud storage, searching for friends, leaderboards, and avatar changes among others. There were problems with viewing achievements and editing profile settings also.

With an apology that was issued for the inconvenience caused by such problems, Microsoft had vowed to make gaming fuss free for Xbox Live users. The team had also released an official tweet addressing the issue and guaranteeing the users that their experts were “investigating Social and Gaming issues on Xbox One.”

The issues had prevented users from getting online on both Sunday and Monday evenings of this week in both North America and the United Kingdom.

In a second update, following the one where they acknowledged the problem, Microsoft reported that they had been detected and fixed. Reporting at around 3 am, they announced to their fans that the issues had been resolved and that they would be “able to enjoy the rest of their day” making full use of the services. However, the initial cause for the inconvenience caused hadn’t been confirmed yet.

Finally, in the third and the last update, there was news that Xbox One users might be facing another round of problems in utilizing the services. Most of which pertained to core Xbox Live service issues. These were reported from the United Kingdom at around 10 pm, and seemed to be tampering with Friends Lists and Party Chat functions. In another news report, the Express confirmed that there were problems in virtually connecting to the online sessions of Xbox One. A message from Microsoft confirmed the same saying: “Hey Xbox members, are you having difficulty playing your new or previously purchased copy of Galaga with Xbox One Backward Compatibility?

“We’re aware of this issue, and we’re working to address it right away! In the meantime, we appreciate your patience. We’ll fill you in as soon as we know more.”

These second round of problems lasted for around two hours in both The United Kingdom and North America till they were fixed.
