There are good chances that Michael Rodriguez is going to leave Fast and Furious family. She takes on a role of Letty Ortiz in this franchise, and she has been involved in the project since it started a long time ago. But she threatens to leave if she doesn’t see at least some things taking a different turn. On her Instagram profile, she posted that she will not come back to the series if they don’t “show love to the women of the franchise.”

“F8 is out digitally today,” she posts, “I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one. Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise. It’s been a good ride & Im grateful for the opportunity the fans & studio have provided over the years… One Love.”

Her fans have been pretty shaken up by her statement, and they continue to send love to their beautiful actress asking her to return.

“I’ve been making movies with Jordana, who plays the sister of Dom Toretto, for 16 years and I can count on one hand how many lines I’ve had to her,” Rodriguez recently shared with EW. “I think that’s pathetic and it’s lack of creativity.”

This franchise has many female characters among its lines such as – Gal Gadot, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Elsa Pataky, but the story does always seem to revolve around the male characters. There have been some rumors lately that there’s going to be a spinoff movie and it will have Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham and perhaps Charlize Theron.

The next two parts Fast and Furious 9 and 10 are already in plans but it is not clear is those will finish the franchise, or there will be more of it. We will see if anything is about the change regarding the female characters. There’s no doubt that the audience would not complain about these girls taking more spotlight.
