It seems that Marshawn Lynch will for sure get out of his retirement in order to join his hometown team – The Oakland Raiders. They will spend a couple of more seasons in Oakland, so this is the perfect opportunity for him to make his return. According to multiple reports, the chances for him to get back to playing football is pretty good. He wants to do it, the Raiders are ready to make a deal for this guy with Seattle and Seahawks don’t mind arranging all that as they get something in return.

Just in case this plan of his doesn’t go as he wants it to go, it seems that Marshawn Lynch has a backup plan ready just in case. The New England Patriots might be interested in getting the Beast Mode to play for them if the Raiders deal falls apart. Lynch has stated that he would be interested in playing for New England if it came to that.

The chances of him going to the defending champions are pretty slim. Raiders and Lynch have a mutual interest, so there is no reason for him going to Oakland to fall apart. One of the sides needs to do something drastic in order to change that. Still, it is good for Lynch to have a backup plan just in case something unexpected happens. The Patriots are a class act, and they are the perfect landing spot for everybody that wants to make one last run at the Super Bowl. If Lynch really wants to get back to the game of football because of the sport itself and not because it is his hometown squad, New England is the place for him.
