Los Angeles Rams vs. Oakland Raiders – Preseason Week 2 Prediction

The Los Angeles Rams are going to be a defensive team in 2017. This squad hasn’t had a good offense in many years. Todd Gurley is their best player on the offensive side of the ball, but he didn’t actually thrive with Jeff Fisher as the head coach. We could hear this guy as he has even voiced his displeasure with Fisher on many occasions, which was just another reason that pushed him out of the door last year.

In their first Preseason game, the Los Angeles Rams dominated Dallas Cowboys’ offense. Yes, they sat a lot of their starters, but still, the Rams looked impressive as they held them to only 7 points and under 250 total yards for the game. Aaron Donald, their best defender, is still sitting out because of the pending contract situation. Nevertheless, this defense looks like they are poised to cause a lot of trouble for their opponents.

Speaking of the Rams’ defense causing a lot of problems, just ask Jared Goff. The first overall pick from last year’s draft that threw three interceptions during Monday’s practice, which according to many should have been five, but he was lucky that those two extra balls didn’t get picked off. Rams coaches are attributing that to their defense. They are looking at the glass that is half full, not half empty.

The Raiders fell in their first preseason game, with most of their main guys resting and sitting out. There is a chance that we see Derek Carr and some other players in action, but we wouldn’t bet on it, especially when it comes to their quarterback who is trying to have a healthy start to the season after that injury late in 2016.

The Rams looked quite good, and we think that they will continue torturing those offenses that they are facing. EJ Manuel is not the greatest decision maker in the world, and we believe that Rams defense is going to make him pay. Rams win the game 13:10.
