A postage stamp of the United Kingdom from 1981 appeared on Twitter and on that stamp we see the images of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, but the photo of a young couple is very strange.

At first glance, posing loving couple in an embrace is not uncommon, but a closer look at the picture will show that the image is designed to “reduce” the appearance of Princess Diana and put emphasis on the “king size” Prince Charles.

Namely, Charles and Diana were of the same height, but in this picture, she appears to be a head shorter than him. And this is not the only image of its kind;

There are many such deliberate deceptions, which are unjustified, ridiculous and useless, according to Huffington Post.

Charles and Diana were exactly 178 centimeters tall. This was, of course, going to Diana’s favor when she wore high heels, but one would never have guessed that if he saw only their portraits, reports, Huffington Post.

Proof to his insecurity is the fact that Diana, during the marriage and while making an appearance with Prince Charles, wore mostly ballet footwear. Only after the divorce could she calmly start to wear her favorite heels.

The letter which shocked the whole world

A few months ago was published a so far unknown letter from Princess Diana, in which she complains to her friend Dudley, writing about how she felt extremely isolated and misunderstood in the royal family.

The letter proves her anxiety and tells about what was going in the UK, as well as in her current family.

Diana’s handwritten letter was sent to Poplak after they had lunch together in 1991, the same year when she revealed some of her intimate details to her biographer Andrew Morton.

Six months later, Morton published this information in the book “Diana: Her True Story,” which was a best seller in the world and which led to major problems in the royal family.

“I feel extremely isolated now that I see what will happen in this country and this family. I feel that you believe me Dudley and do not know what this means to me, because I’m constantly misunderstood by the people around me” – said Diana.

The book Diana: Her True Story was published in 1992 and is based on her recorded responses coming from previously written questions. She also spoke about the relations with other members of the royal family.

Queen Elizabeth later described the year 1992 as a “year of terror.”
