After being down big at the half, they came back and took the lead. But, in the end, they couldn’t make one final stop. Lions nailed a field goal and won the game 24:23.

Carson Wentz was on the verge of his first comeback win but fell just short. At the end of the match, when he needed to move his squad and win this duel while the time was running out, he threw his first interception. His run without throwing any picks is now over.

Eagles quarterback finished the game with 238 yards. He went 25/33 and threw two TDs with one pick. Another good game for a rookie signal caller, but it just wasn’t enough this time.

Matthew Stafford was also sensational for his team. Lions needed to win this game and remain relevant. Their best player stepped up and went 19/25 for 180 yards and three scores with no giveaways.

Lions are now 2-3 and still in position to chase after Minny and Green Bay. They will have a tough task of catching up with these teams, but at least they remain alive in their division. On the other hand, Eagles look catchable for their divisional rivals, but still have the lead. That is at least until Cowboys finish their game against the Bengals.
