Lego Volkswagen Golf Mk1 GTI really looks cool

The Lego Volkswagen Golf Mk1 GTI was and the project was posted on Lego Ideas, so there is a possibility for this model to go intro production. The real-life Volkswagen Golf Mk1 GTI has been manufactured since the 1970s.

It is amazing that the Lego model looks almost exactly like the real car. However, the crease in the shoulder line is far more prominent than on the real vehicle. The tiny details such as the GTI emblem on the right side of the grille and custom decals on the rear are also inserted and they give the car more authentic look. This toy can be a perfect decoration for your desk or a bookshelf.

The interior is also assembled and it does look pretty awesome. The center stack and steering wheel are recreated by custom stickers, whereas the seats are stripped in black and red. Asking for plaid rear seats would be too much.

The Lego Volkswagen has 1,278 parts, which is similar to VW Beetle, which has 1,167 pieces. These two would go perfectly together. In order to consider putting the GTI into production, the project needs to have 10,000 supporters on Lego Ideas. So far, this VW has received 1,339 supporters. There are 589 days left for this car to gather the remaining votes.
