Kingdom Hearts fans have been going through agony because there has been some time now since anything concrete about the third installment of the game. At Magic Monaco 2017, Square Enix tried to alleviate fan suffering as they released one new screenshot from the game but that simply didn’t help as much as they hoped. Fans want more, especially answers. Well here are some.

As far as the release date is concerned the Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be anytime soon, at least thanks to what we found out from the game director Tetsuya Nomura. He stated “While I can’t make a sweeping statement because the development process is different from what we’ve done so far, there are still worlds untouched,” and added “Production is progressing on unannounced worlds, in a state that we cannot show them off. In terms of the state of development, there is still some way to go,” in an interview with Weekly Famitsu.

Kingdom Hearts 3 release date

As you can see the Mr. Nomura used every atom of his power to try and avoid disclosing any sort, even vague, release window for the title but what he had told us is that he does intend to show off the team’s progress on the sequel sometime in 2017. Thanks to this we presume that the game will not be done and available until the end of the year. This is all backed up by some recent info from investors documents that state that Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII remake will not be released until 2018.

As far as the trailer is concerned the one we have here is courtesy of Jump Festa 2016 and much like the reveal trailer, this one also focuses on the combat side of the game. But you have to admit in this one we all can somewhat better feel the flow from initiation to the conclusion of the fight. Those who thoroughly watched this trailer had to pick up on the brief hints at some exciting special abilities as well as how your surroundings will impact the flow of the battle.

The Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer that was released by The Square Enix at E3 2015 teased us with Rapunzel’s tower from Tangled and what looks like Twilight Town with a slight upgrade. You can also check this one below as well.
