Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn Almost Fired On Smackdown

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were two of the hottest superstars on the WWE roster just a couple of weeks ago. After Sami saved Kevin from Shane McMahon’s attack, all eyes were on them and what they are going to do next. The company then stopped their push, and their storylines for the Survivor Series build, which is understandable.

Now it seems that Owens and Zayn are going to have a huge role on Tuesday nights. Right at the top of the show, Shane McMahon wanted to fire Owens and Zayn for what they did at the Survivor Series PPV during that 5v5 traditional match. They cost their team the win and Shane wanted nothing to do with them.

Then, Bryan stopped Shane from doing something that he might regret and has put Owens and Zayn in the Lumberjack match with the New Day in the main event of the night.

The duo did win the battle, but the New Day stood tall in the end. Next week, Owens is going to fight Randy Orton, and that is probably going to be his next feud.

After he looked so important after headbutting Vince McMahon and after Zayn made a heel turn that nobody has seen coming, they should have been pushed to the moon right away. Cold and stale are two words that can describe their current status on Tuesday nights.

We hope that this isn’t just another case of WWE dropping the ball with their talent like they have done so many times in their past. These guys have a lot of potential, it is just about the company putting them in a right spot to succeed.
